Establishment of store and its planning

Ventilation system for head race tunnel  

The ventilation of under ground works is important when the length of tunnel is more than 500 M. However ventilation of any types of tunnels either it is HRT, TRT, desilting chamber, under ground power house etc ventilation system is must from the beginning of portal establishment. To calculate the blower HP and air required at face the fowling parameter must be known:-

1.      No of Diesel equipment and other equipment working inside the tunnel.

2.       No of persons are working inside the tunnel.

3.       Area of the tunnel.

4.       Cross section of ventilation duct.
